Dr. Menon joined the Department of Physics at Queens College in Fall 2004 as part of the CUNY Photonics Initiative. Prior to joining QC- CUNY he was a research staff member at Princeton University (2003-04). He joined Prof. Stephen R. Forrest's group at Princeton as the Lucent Bell Labs Post Doctoral Fellow in Photonics in 2001. He received his MS in Physics from the University of Hyderabad, India in 1995 and his Ph.D. in Physics from the University of Massachusetts in 2001. His doctoral work focussed on developing far infrared quantum cascade emitters. He is a member of the CUNY photonics initiative and the New York State Center for Advanced Technology on Photonic Applications at the City University.
